The Competitions

commend all the teams for their contribution towards
the conclusion of a highly successful football
season. Special congratulations to our “three-peat”
Champions, Real Mona FC for regaining its’ lien on
the coveted Fitz Ramsay Trophy following a hard
earned 2-1 victory over perennial title contender
Harbour View FC in the finals at the Constant Spring
Field.
The committee also
extends congratulation to Real Mona and Harbour View
management and coaching staff for preparing two well
coached and talented teams. We also would like to
extend a big thank you to our sponsors without which
this competition would be difficult to stage.

FC defeating Shortwood United by 6 goals to nil in
the feature game at Buttercup Park.
-
27 out of a possible

126 games were
scheduled to play including the semi-final and

failure to show for games, unprepared fields
resulting in games being awarded) 115 games were
actually completed. In the previous season 136
games were completed.
-
During the
competition, a total of 88 yellow cards or an
average 1.31 per game were issued. This compared
to a total of 85 issued in the previous season.

9 red cards were
issued this year against a total of 10 in the
previous season.
-
In spite of playing
fewer games during the season, 414 goals at an
average of 3.6 goals per game were scored compared
to 393 or 2.9 goals per game in the previous
