The Competitions Committee would like to take this opportunity to commend all the teams for their contribution towards the conclusion of a highly successful football season. Special congratulations to our “three-peat” Champions, Real Mona FC for regaining its’ lien on the coveted Fitz Ramsay Trophy following a hard earned 2-1 victory over perennial title contender Harbour View FC in the finals at the Constant Spring Field.

The committee also extends congratulation to Real Mona and Harbour View management and coaching staff for preparing two well coached and talented teams. We also would like to extend a big thank you to our sponsors without which this competition would be difficult to stage.

The Competition kicked off on Thursday, July 12, 2008 with Real Mona FC defeating Shortwood United by 6 goals to nil in the feature game at Buttercup Park.

  • 27 out of a possible 39 teams participated in this year’s competition compared to 35 in the previous season. Given our current sponsor program, we fully expect 100% participation by all eligible teams during the coming season.
